REPAIRS & ALTERATIONS
If you need any repairs or alterations done, we can take care of it for you. Buttons, zippers, pockets, or seams, we got you covered. Increase the lifetime of your clothes by staying ahead of irreversible damage. Notice a small rip in your favorite pants? Let us repair it before it turns into a public disaster! Bought new clothes that don’t fit perfectly? We’ll alter them to your measurements for you. In case you may have a special request simply add this in the “notes” area in the checkout form and we’ll take care of it.
*Please note that not all repairs and alterations are included in our price list. If you don’t see the repair or alteration you require, please contact us.
We have different options in our price list for buttons, for example “repair pants button” but if you need a button repaired that is not (clearly) stated in our list, you can also tell us in the notes section of your order or at your pick-up and we’ll take care of it for you.
Rips are difficult to put in a price list because they all vary in size and damage. Just tell us in the notes section or at pick-up and we’ll do our best to get it sorted out for you. We will call you first with a price indication before we proceed with the repair.
Shortening your pants, dresses, or sleeves can be easily done by marking your desired length with (safety) pins. Our partners will take care of the rest. You can also send in a piece of garment along with the garment that needs alterations as an example. For example, you can include a pair of pants that is the correct length in your order (do tell us about it if you do!) and we can alter your new pants to that same length (if the fit is the same).
Take in waist
Taking in the waist of your pants, dresses, skirts and blouses can also be done by marking the desired size with pins. You can also send in a piece of garment along with the garment that needs alterations as an example. For example, you can include a pair of pants that is the correct waist circumference in your order (do tell us about it if you do!) and we can alter your new pants to that same waist size (if the fit is the same).
Marking for repairs and alterations
Please mark your garment with (safety) pins. Let someone else help you do this to avoid faulty measuring. Stand up straight and let your partner mark the length of your pants or sleeve. Always make sure you feel comfortable and can move comfortably with the measurements before marking them.
